Our Dolphin & Nature Boat Trip is a guided dolphin watching boat trip to see Ireland’s resident group of bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. Trips run everyday depending on sea conditions, weather & passenger demand during our season (April - September).
There are about 200 bottlenose dolphins in the Shannon Estuary, an EU Special Area of Conservation. Calves are born each year and it is a special treat to watch them play.
While dolphin watching is our main objective, there is so much else to experience on this journey around the Mouth of the Shannon - historic landmarks, spectacular cliffs, other wildlife, pelagic sea birds, Grey Seals and, well, you never know what you might see.
Please note that we do not operate a set schedule. We decide on our trip times on a daily basis depending on sea conditions and tides. You may enquire via phone or email as to our current sailing times.
Duration: 2 - 2 1/2 hrs.
